A public festival measures itself in flow — how a crowd moves, pauses, and turns to face each other. Our role was to choreograph that movement with light.
Twelve courtyards, one through-line. A spine of light connected each space, so that visiting the festival felt like walking through a story rather than a market.
Lanterns were used as wayfinding. Projection mapped the old walls at hourly rituals. The main stage was placed not at the centre but at the edge, drawing the crowd forward through the entire site first.
The night ended the way all good nights do: people stayed after the music stopped.
